It’s hard to know what you want or how an interior decorator will be able to help you until you’ve met, viewed the space together, and had a discussion regarding your personal style, likes and dislikes as well as budget and time constraints. A consultation provides us with the opportunity to get to know one another, feel out if we will work well together, outline your goals, and formulate a plan to create your space to reflect exactly the way you envision it to be.


Yes. The initial one-hour in-home design consultation is $100. A credit of half of your consultation fee ($50) will be applied to your final invoice should you decide to move forward and select a redesign service with Maria Rose Interiors within 60 days.


There is no contract required to schedule a consultation and no obligation to sign one during the meeting. However, if you do decide to hire Maria Rose Interiors to decorate a space in your home, a signed contract, along with a 50% deposit fee will be required to begin your project.

Note: half of your consultation fee ($50) will be applied as a credit on your final project invoice, providing the contract is signed within 60 days of your initial in-home consultation.


I offer consultation appointments Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm. It is important that I view your home during the day in natural light. Please plan for me to be at your home for 60-90 minutes. Inclement weather may require a reschedule (at no additional cost).

What Types of projects Does this cover?

Love your furniture and accessories but need a little assistance to help you repurpose everything? Or, maybe you’ve purchased new furniture but need help bringing it all together so it matches the vision you had in mind?

Perhaps you just need a pair of fresh eyes to help you decide what to keep, what to replace and what to add when refreshing a roomOr, it could be that you lack the confidence to choose the right colors and patterns on your own.

Whatever the need, this package is exactly the right fit when you want to tackle some of the design yourself but aren’t ready to fly solo.

What's Included?

The Collaborative Design Package is a same-day, on-site consultation. During this visit we will re-purpose your existing furniture, discuss paint color suggestions, take measurements for future purchases (if necessary). I will provide you with a detailed shopping list of suggested items and an overall plan of action to bring it all together. Time range is 2-3 hours, per room.

Labor for third parties, materials, tradesmen (painters, movers, etc), designer installation, and cost of additional furniture and accessories are not included.

What Will It Cost?

Normally, this package is a flat-rate of $225 per room BUT, for a limited time I am offering it for just $150 per room.

How Many Hours Do I Need?

It depends. I provide services from arranging furniture and choosing window treatments to paint color selection and shopping sessions. During our initial phone consultation, we will discuss your needs and I can provide you with my suggestions for how long we will need to complete the project.


Working with an interior decorator does not have to be expensive. The cost will depend on how many hours you need along with the scope of the project. I will work with you to determine a budget that is comfortable for you and accomplishes your goals whether it is one room at a time or your entire home. Much of my time requires shopping and I know just the right retailers to target to stay within your set budget. *Cost of furniture and accessories are NOT included.  

NOTE: The hourly design service requires a three-hour minimum. Please note: the consultation discount only applies to contract projects, not hourly services.


Yes. There will be a minimum of three hours required to move forward with an hourly rate. The Letter of Agreement will have the details outlined and 50% deposit will be required upon the start of your project.

How Do I know if I have a "Larger-Scale Project?

If your project will take more than 5 or 6 hours, it’s best that we look at a large-scale project contract. This will save you significant money on the full project and ensure you have all the support you need.

The sky’s the limit! Based on our call and/or consultation, I will customize a package for you to include everything you need to bring your vision to life.


Yes. Once we agree on your needs, I will create a contract to ensure that you receive everything we discussed and at the agreed upon price. The contract will detail what services will be provided and set the expectations for both of us for the project. In order to begin, a 50% deposit will be due upon signing of the contract.
